Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care
The hospital has a modern, 6-bed Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care. The Department treats patients after elective and emergency surgeries as well as those in life-threatening conditions requiring intensive care and therapy.
The equipment of the department ensures the best standards of treatment. The doctors, who are specialists in anaesthesiology and intensive care, and a specialized nursing team ensure proper care for seriously ill Patients.
The intensive care stations are equipped with a ventilator that allows to treat respiratory failure, with monitoring devices that enable full monitoring of vital signs and infusion pumps for drug administration. Each of the beds is equipped with an anti-bedsore mattress.
An additional advantage of the Department is a 24/7 access to the entire diagnostic equipment of the hospital.
An experienced team of doctors and nurses on regular basis treat Patients, administer anaesthesia to those before surgeries and conduct pain therapy. In operating theatres, during surgical procedures, anaesthesiologists perform a wide range of anaesthetic procedures.
The Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care closely cooperates with other Departments of the Hospital.
