X-ray Examinations

AboutStaffContact

Radiographic examination (X-ray) is a non-invasive imaging procedure designed to detect structural abnormalities of the organs being examined. A radiographic examination is short and painless and no special preparation is needed. However, it should not be performed more than once every 6 months.

The X-ray Suite is equipped with a GE Medical PRECISION RX universal remote-controlled diagnostic apparatus for whole-body diagnostics. It has a visual tracking function with which the gastrointestinal tract (esophagus, stomach, duodenum, and small and large intestine) can be X-rayed and urography can be performed using contrast agents.

The X-ray Suite offers:

  • contrast-enhanced examinations – urography, gastrointestinal (GI) examination
  • chest X-ray
  • spine X-ray
  • joint X-ray
  • musculoskeletal X-ray

NOTE: X-ray examinations are paid for out of pocket and are only performed during a scheduled appointment based on a medical referral or on the request of the attending physician.
